Warranty Policy
At Sue's Virginia Beach, we want you to love what you ordered. This Limited Warranty covers manufacturing defects and explains how it works alongside our Return Policy.
What This Warranty Covers
We warrant that items purchased from Sue's Virginia Beach will be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for 30 days from the date of delivery — matching our return window.
This includes:
- Stitching that comes undone under normal wear
- Fabric flaws present at the time of delivery (holes, tears, or stains not caused by the customer)
- Faulty zippers, buttons, clasps, or other hardware that fail under normal use
- Printing, dye, or embroidery defects (peeling, misalignment, bleeding) not part of the product's intended design
If your item arrives defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, please inspect it upon arrival and contact us right away — the sooner you reach out, the faster we can resolve it.
What This Warranty Does Not Cover
- Normal wear and tear (fading, pilling, minor thread loosening over time)
- Damage from improper washing or care — always follow the care label
- Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or unauthorized alterations
- Sizing issues — see our Return Policy for exchanges, since fit is not a defect
- Natural design variation (e.g. dye variation in washed or distressed denim, handmade imperfections)
Return Shipping
As stated in our Return Policy, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs, including on approved warranty claims.
How to File a Warranty Claim
- Email us at info@suesvirginiabeach.com within 30 days of delivery
- Include your order number, a description of the defect, and clear photos showing the issue
- We'll review your claim and respond within 2–3 business days
- If approved, we'll offer a replacement, repair, or refund. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility, as outlined in our Return Policy
Please don't send the item back before we've confirmed your claim — unrequested returns won't be accepted, in line with our Return Policy.
Warranty Claim vs. Standard Return
This warranty only covers manufacturing defects. If you simply want a different size, color, or changed your mind, that falls under our standard Return Policy instead. Both follow the same return shipping terms.
Your Legal Rights
This warranty is in addition to, not instead of, any rights you have under applicable state or federal consumer protection law. Some states don't allow limits on how long an implied warranty lasts or exclusions on certain damages, so parts of this policy may not apply to you depending on where you live.
